A constellation of islands lay in the shimmering waters of the Indian Ocean, where the last true vision of paradise can be found. Less than a one hour flight from Malé, up to the Maldives’ uncharted northern edge, beckons an island of singular beauty. Five diverse dining venues, including the Treehouse (which blends East African and Middle Eastern cuisines), treatments and yoga at the Ayurvedic spa are balanced by the island's wealth of outdoor activities. Here, at Viceroy Maldives, seclusion and rejuvenation are realized within a world of total luxury.
• Beach Bungalows - Cloistered on the water's edge, the Beach Bungalows offer generous living spaces surrounded by a lush screen of greenery. Past the shower and deep soaking tub in the bedroom’s spacious en-suite bathroom, a private garden area holds an outdoor shower and oversized plunge pool on the sundeck, leading directly onto the soft sand of the beach or up to the open spaces of the living area.
• Deluxe Beach Bungalows - Nestled between lush gardens and the soft sand of the island's edge lay these bungalows, with private plunge pools and incredible views. Featured with floor to ceiling windows, living room and en-suite bathroom with its own outdoor shower nestled in a private garden. The bungalow has a second floor loft, where the daybed provides additional space for lounging or just soaking in the panoramic views. Adjoining to the master bedroom is a second bedroom with two twin beds and an attached bathroom, ideal for families and couples alike.
• Water Bungalows - Overlooking the soothing lagoon views, these bungalows are expansive and full of light while retaining an intimate feel. From the tiered deck, choose to relax in the private plunge pool or dive off into the lagoon’s seductive blue waters.
• Deluxe Water Bungalows - Perched atop the lagoon. From the deck, dip into the private plunge pool or just relax, savoring the sweeping views. The generous spaces in the two-story Deluxe Water Bungalows allow for personalized living, and feature a second-floor loft with convertible furnishings that provide a relaxing spot on a lazy afternoon to enjoy the beauty of the sun setting.
• Royal Villa – This three bedroom villa is the largest of its kind in the Maldives. The generous living room overlooks the lagoon through floor-to-ceiling windows, and the split-level deck holds a 60sqm plunge pool just steps from the water. The Villa's living area is designed for entertaining, with the dining room and fully stocked bar connecting the media lounge and a game room with a champion-sized pool table. Guests in the lower level's two bedrooms can easily dip in the lagoon or the private plunge Jacuzzi off their individual decks, each furnished with sun loungers and an outdoor shower.
